THERE seems to be no end to the spate of abductions in Ebonyi State as the wife of the Arch-diocesan Lay President of the Methodist Church of Nigeria, Lady Rose Okorie was reportedly kidnapped yesterday.
Lady Okorie was allegedly abducted by suspected gunmen, numbering six at Ngbo, in Ohaukwu Local Government Area of the state.
Her abduction came barely one week after the ChiefExecutive Officer of Godal Pharmacy, Mr. Godwin Nwosu, was kidnapped by unknown gunmen, who eventually killed him.
The Nation learnt that Lady Okorie, a nurse and employee of Ohaukwu Local Government Area was abducted at her private clinic, Little Seeds Clinic in Ngbo.
Family sources said Lady Okorie was kidnapped at about 8am on Wednesday.
The sources claimed that the gunmen, who invaded the clinic in their get-away car, forced the woman into the vehicle and sped off.
