13 year old nabbed for raping a 7 year old in church

A 13-year-old teenager from the Hobhouse high density suburb in Mutare raped a seven year old girl six times on different occasions in a church!

The accused who raped the juvenile (both names withheld) from January to 30 May this year was arrested and is assisting police with investigations.

On one occasion, the minor who was coming from school in the company of her cousin, met the accused and he blocked her way. He lifted her and ran away with her to Life Ministries International Church where he raped her once. The teenager continued to make use of the same trick on different occasions for five months. The matter came to light after the girl's grandmother realised that the little girl was having difficulties in walking.

Granny quizzed her grandchild and she revealed that she was raped several times. The matter was reported to police and the teenager was subsequently arrested. Acting Manicaland police spokesperson, Sergeant Muzondiwa Clean, confirmed the incident and urged parents and guardians to advise their children to report any forms of abuse early.
